What is Neuro-Linguistic Programming or NLP?

Neuro-Linguistic Programming uses specific techniques that help you to understand how you think (neuro), how you communicate (linguistic) and your strategies and patterns of behaviour and emotion (programming). Self awareness begins when you understand why you do what you do and the relationship between your thoughts, behaviour, actions and emotions. NLP techniques helps you to overcome negative thought patterns and feelings, which enable you to positively change mental, emotional and physical behaviour. Life changing, but only if you are willing to change!

What is life coaching?

Life coaching assists people in all areas of life. Predominantly individuals that
are working towards creating their own careers and wanting to find their
purpose and passion in life. As well as clients that are ‘stuck’ and want to move
forward in their life but aren’t sure where to start. In summary Life Coaching
supports and motivates people in unlocking their true potential, defining outcomes and creating goals and steps in achieving them. Whether it is business goals or personal ones, such as improving your relationships.

How will coaching help me with my anxiety?

My coaching style incorporates NLP techniques, which is highly effective in treating anxiety. I have a person-centered approach and have unconditional positive regard with my clients. Due to my own experience of anxiety, I bring compassion and empathy to my coaching work…I’ve been there and understand the feelings and effects of anxiety, so I can facilitate and support you in your recovery.

How will I know if you’re the right coach for me?

It is vital to have a good client-coach relationship where connections are made and trust is built and nurtured. It is in this safe space that you can explore, sift through, brainstorm and visit those places in your soul that need to surface and heal, in order to flourish and transform. The best way to know if I am the right coach for you is to have an initial session with me. If you feel that coaching is not for you, you will not be charged and I will do my best to refer you to someone else who can help.

Is phone or Skype coaching effective?

Phone or Skype Coaching has benefits such as being time efficient and having a session from the comfort of your own home. It can be quite personal because your main focus is on listening, so you can get to the heart of issues quickly. I have an office in Melbourne and am more than happy to offer
face-to-face coaching.

How many sessions will I need?

Each person is individual. In general a few sessions are needed, but you can notice a significant difference after the first session. The decision regarding the number of sessions is entirely up to you. You are welcome to try one session to see if coaching is right for you.
